The Puerto Rico Broadband Program has allocated $3.6 million to Increase and Retain Puerto Rico’s Broadband Workforce through this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Designed to increase the attractiveness of working in Broadband, this NOFA solicits proposals from interested Proponents to design and implement apprenticeship programs for broadband technicians, as well as proposals to provide retention bonuses to new hires related to broadband and telecommunications.
